Makes about 2 cups
- 1 can chickpeas, drained & rinsed
- 1 garlic clove
- 4 oz tahini
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 1/2 cup water
Tahini in its simplest form is just sesame seeds that have been pulsed into a thick paste (like how peanuts make peanut butter). You can find it in most grocery stores in the refrigerated section.
If you have the Trader Joe's brand you'll use half the container for this amount of chickpeas.
In your Vitamix, food processor, or blender, combine all the ingredients and blend until smooth! That's it!
