This recipe takes only about 15 minutes to make! You'll be glad you skipped take out to make your own fresh Japanese style Pan Noodles!
1/2 onion, sliced into half moons 1 clove garlic, minced 1" piece of ginger, minced 1/2 cup water 2 cups mushrooms, sliced 2 cups broccoli, chopped 1/3 cup teriyaki 2 tbsp corn starch 1 pkg udon noodles 1 cup cilantro, optional 3 green onions, chopped 1/4 cup sesame seeds
Sauté the Veggies
In a wok or large pan on your stove top, add in the onion, garlic, ginger and water and sauté for a few minutes. Then add in the mushrooms, broccoli, and teriyaki and toss to combine.
Boil the Noodles
Bring a small pot of water to a boil and add in the noodles and cook according to the package directions. When done, drain and rinse under cold water.
Once the noodles are done, add in 2 tbsp of corn starch to the veggies and teriyaki sauce and toss to combine. The sauce should thicken. Toss in the drained and rinsed noodles and combine with the veggies and sauce. Top with cilantro, green onions, and sesame seeds.
