Purple Power Smoothie

This smoothie is packed with ingredients that are just going to make you FEEL GOOD. Chia and pumpkin seeds for energy, flax seeds for good digestion, cucumber for more hydration, spinach for its high iron count, blueberries and plums for antioxidants, and a banana for potassium. This is one of my favorite post- workout smoothies! 

Purple Power Smoothie

Makes 3 smoothie

Ingredients

Purple Power Smoothie

  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 1/4 cup flax seeds
  • 1/2 cucumber
  • 2 cups spinach
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup plums, stones removed
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup ice
  • 4 cups water

Blend

In your Vitamix, food processor, or blender, add the seeds to the bottom, then the cucumber, ice, blueberries, spinach, plums, and banana. Top with 4 cups water. I usually put this through two cycles to make sure everything is blended through.
